Royalty may be one of the hallmarks of the principality of Monaco, as well as the luxury casinos and expensive yachts that anchor on its shores. But the Rally celebrated here is far from a princess tale, let alone during the time of year when you run that event: winter. The intricate roads offer attractive winter landscapes for those who are visitors, or attend as spectators of the event, with beautiful pine forests and other conifers that dominate the mountains of the region, but these constitute a real challenge for the drivers who take part in this rally: ice patches, closed hairpins, rock ledges, and stone rails that puncture your tires to the contact; or its precise absence at the exit of an ice-patched curve, which leads to an abyss. Naturally, it is very easy to end up with terminal damage, so you must be very cautious about grip changes and the many obstacles along the way.

This time, for the Junior category, the expected dominance of the Ford Fiesta R2 was observed.
